We mediate disputes in employment, labour, civil, and commercial matters, before or after litigation.
What It Costs
Mediations are typically billed on a full-day or half-day flat fee. Full days cover all preparation and a seven-hour session. Half days cover all preparation and a three-hour session.

Other Considerations
Facilities costs, when required, are in addition to these fees. HST is charged as required.
The invoice will be split between the parties, unless there is an agreement specifying a different allocation.
Cancellations
No charge if notice of cancellation is received at least ten business days in advance. Half the fee otherwise. In all cases, the parties will be responsible for any non-refundable disbursements incurred.
Investigations
We investigate allegations of misconduct in the workplace.
What It Costs
Investigations are billed at $425 to $550 per hour depending upon the investigator, and the nature of the case, plus any disbursements and HST. The total cost is driven largely by the complexity of the matter, the number of documents to be reviewed, and the number of interviews required.
Arbitrations
We adjudicate disputes pursuant to collective agreement grievance proceedings; arbitration clauses in employment contracts, shareholder agreements and other commercial agreements; or, by the voluntary agreement of parties.
What It Costs
Arbitration fees range between $5,000 to $6,000 a day based on the forum and the location, plus any disbursements and HST.

We help improve working environments that are grappling with problematic employee behaviours or are plagued by systemic dysfunction.
